Hi folks

My apple email which usually gets little spam has started receiving daily emails from:

[email protected]
&
[email protected]

I can try to 'unsubscribe' but understand that clicking such links can make matters worse. I am not sure if these are genuine companies, in which case I can presumbably unsubscribe or otherwise.

Advice would be greatly appreciated!

I started getting a lot of spam after (against all my better judgement and years of computer experience) giving my email to someone on Facebook who turned out not to be who they said they were.

Just kept blocking the senders and domains in Live Mail until eventually after about two months they just suddenly stopped.

Lesson learned and I would definitely not click any link in an email I would remotely doubt the veracity of. There are just too many soulless toe rags out there who wouldn't blink an eye at draining your bank account or credit card.

Is there a way to do this from my iPhone do you know by any chance?

No sorry, I don't use an iphone. I suspect if you google the name of the email client you use and spam filtering you should get something helpful. Usually press and hold and then select mark as spam but as said, not sure on Apple.

I use a custom domain and have a different email for every service I sign up to. If I get spam then I know exactly who sold me out and can turn that email off so that they just bounce.

Or better, redirect them to the company CEO lol
