That makes you sound about 70. Although from the spelling of the message it makes her (him, obviously) sound about 7.

I've been getting a few weird ones myself lately. They look as though their from people I know, but it's just spam.

Its probably just a bot that trawls through and makes a note of where it found the email address to try and make it seem more genuine. But fails.

It's probably picked up your email address from this forum, then linked the web address to it and created that "personalised" email.

Your email address should only be available in your Trust, and you have to log in to view Trust details.
I'm sure it could be traced if the Dons wanted to.

I thought email isn't available on trust. You can send an email through it.

Regardless though, it's a worry. Can the dons please investigate this to see if it's worth going into as a potential data breach?

I got a marketing email from OcUK a few weeks back (was legit) but I've never explicitly given permission - have emailed dons and the shop but no reply. Wasn't impressed tbh.

Companies are allowed to contact you once every few years to see if you want to be marketed to, I believe there can also be some form of marketing in this contact (i.e. "Look at these deals you could be missing")
