Cheapish case from somewhere (you can get some cheap ones with quite good airflow if you look carefully), cheap wired keyboard from somewhere, Logitech RX1000 mouse. Wireless is a gimmick for me, I only find it hand on my laptop, but I'm not gonna need it for my desktop PC :) I always find wired response times and accuracy is better too - but then again I haven't tried many wireless mice/keyboards :)

Out of curiousity, did you just ignore the budget? The case, while beautiful (as these things get I guess) is over 1/10th of the budget on it's own and it is a very good specification to be sure but still it is way over. :)

Ok slight re-jig based on your comments and assuming you will keep XP for the moment.

I go a little over and I get poked at...

I do prefere the Antec Nine Hundred Ultimate Gaming case than the Lian-Li PC V1000 PLUS Aluminium Midi-Tower - Silver and it's cheaper.

Are Lian Li case worth the money compared to the Antec?

I understand completely when it is your own PC, I overspent on my last PC and I'll probably overspend on my next one as well but then my budgets are always very loose and I know not everyone has that luxury.

Craigvarr the Nine Hundred is very good at cooling I believe, I happen to think it looks pretty ugly but as long as you like it then no real reason not to go for it. :)
