Sparkly Dots on Screen ?

Over the past three days since installing GTA 5 .. ocasionally my screen would go black then back on again within a second or two.

This morning it's constantly going black and then coming back on again.

So I switched my HDMI cable, and changed to input 1 on my TV ( previously it was input 3 )

It's completely stopped going black but I can occasionally see white sparkly dots around the edges of colourful images when there's a black background.

3060ti GPU

Any idea s?

I'll try that later.
After rebooting the PC and repositioning the HDMI cable. It's completely stopped sparkling on the desktop screen, except on Corsairs ICUE software GUI and Ryzen master

Just changed the HDMI cable for a brand new unused one and now seems ok

Whenever I've read about what you are describing, it's been down the HDMI cable. Either it's deteriorated, low speed (doesn't have sufficient bandwidth) or it's too long.

Yeah it was a huge length and expensive one from years back, braided etc.
Replaced it with a smaller length brand new cheapo one and it's fine now :cool:
