What's with the trend of wearing completely spastic looking NHS glasses at the moment? Thick rimmed ones from the 50's were one thing, but not empty fake Ray Ban Wayfarer frames that make you look like 1980's dole victims. What gives?

Tinie Tempah was on Graham Norton last night wearing some. Now, I quite like the guy, but his glasses made him look like Dwayne Dibley. Dwayne Dibley? Why would you do that to yourself?
 
Its like when people wear those stupid clubbing sliced glasses things.

I see some people the other day strolling around in 3D glasses from the cinema.

I can only conclude people are idiots.
 
There are many people in the world, it stands to reason a large amount are going to be complete retards.
 
lol i thought of that song when i clicked this thread. They should release it, its bloooody maaaarvelous like.

I was at a bus stop a few weeks back outside a Subway sarnie shop and as it was lunch time all the local 6th form students had swamped theplace.

I was biting my tongue not to laugh, there was a group of 6 blokes all with "Justin Beiber" style hair cuts?? IS that serious ?? is that what kids want to look like today..

Must admit I've not noticed it and I wear glasses (not horrible thick NHS type ones before you ask!)

It is obviously a fashion thing and I've even read a report recently that talked of a poll of employers who stated that they would be far more likely to employ a person wearing glasses than one that didn't!

As a result sales of glasses with clear lenses have apparently gone up as a result - very odd.
 
We are about a year behind, its ALL over Asia for at least 2 years now. Black frames are all the rage over there, i even saw some kids wearing black rim glasses (minus the lens), just the frames just for fashion.

That was the same song that I was thinking of when I clicked this thread. My girlfriend linked it to me once, and I really do not get why people dress like that.

Reminds me of an episode of the apprentice where the contestants had to find some designer's clothes to sell, and one of them was a hipster who looked absolutely ridiculous. I'm very glad the contestants shared that sentiment and didn't sell it.
