I'm after a combo SPD / Flat pedal combo - has anyone got / used them and any recommendations please ?

presumbly, not he road SPD-SL?

All the shimano ones are great. jsut dont get the decathlon ones. their SPD is ever so slightly different to the shimano ones. they claim is compatible but my set are really bad fit. I tried, shimano cleat to decathlong spd/flat pedals, it's quite difficult to get out even with tension screw set to minimum. i tried decathlon (black) cleats on my shimano m520 and m530. very very difficult to get in. Also tried decathlon pedals with decathlon cleats, better but no where near as good as shimano's offerings. Best comno i have is shimano cleats with XT T8000 pedals. very smooth action, but very heavy.
 
Hi, thanks but sorry, I think I should have been clearer ....

I'm after a combined flat / SPD clip pedal I can use with my SPD shoes or non cleat shoes to go on a gravel bike I have on order.

I run flats (Nukeproof Horizon on my hardtail and Hope F20s on my FS) on my mountain bikes and swap between Shimano PD-M530 and R540 SPD-SL on my roadie

I'm after an SPD combo pedal so I can use my SPD shoes when mainly on road / light off road or as flats (no cleats) when on rougher terrain / more technical rides :)
