SPD / Item description mismatch on OCUK Memory

I bought 2 lots of the overclockers non branded.

- 6 Layers Ultra Low Noises Shielded PCB
- 1yr Warranty
- 1.8V-2.1V Power Supply

although descrived as 5-5-5-12 the spd has 6-6-6-6-18 @ 1.8v
the asus formula board board is running @ 1.9V...

should I just up the volts to 2.1 in bios and manually set to 5-5-5-12..do i need to worry about secondary timeings or just leave them on auto.

yep, you should be able to adjust the settings accordingly, as stated by yourself

Just adjust the first 4 to 5-5-5-12, set the voltage to 2.1V and leave the rest to auto.

Give the northbridge (MCH) voltage a nudge by 0.1v to boost it for 4 sticks.

If that doesn't work then try dropping the memory voltage to 2.0v.

Upping NB, cpu and fsbt each 1 notch got me back to 8hrs stable on auto timings and voltage.
will trying decreasing each one again and tightening up the timings.
