I've got around £100 to spare so am looking to upgrade my speaker set up for my PC. Currently i'm using a set of Trust 2.1 usb speakers and frankly they're garbage.

I do like 2.1 since i dont have a lot of space on the desk, but could fit 5.1 if the speaker pods were smallish. Mostly im after some decent sound, not mind blowing or anything like that. Just a decent set where you can hear and feel the bass.

Rather than the tinny anaemic sound i have now!

Also, is it worth buying a blutooth dongle and having the sound go through my HiFi, which has a pretty decent 5.1 set up already. I pump my laptop and mac through them already

Thanks in advance

Harman Kardon Soundsticks mate. Can't go wrong with 'em.

i concur after owning a set of the MK2 sticks,, but also fencing sitting, as currently looking at a new setup after a couple of years with some Pc time out, and now they do soundstick III, however im wondering if its worth the extra hike for the corair SP2500's or the AEGO M 2.1 setup

sorry to hijack as i know those last two unts are out of the Ops price range

but just wondering if going from the £100 up to £175-200 is worth it for gaming etc
