Speaker advice please

So I currently have a set of harman/kardon soundstick 3 2.1 speakers, these are connected to the line out on my FiiO EK10.

Have looked at the Edifier R1800TIII and quite like the look of these, will these be ok connected to the Line out on my FiiO or is there a better way to connect them? Dont have a soundcard in the PC other than the onboard (MSI z97M mobo)
Or are there some better 2.0 speakers you can recommend (£250 ish max budget) mainly for music.

KRK could be ideal as they tend to have boosted bass

Presonus Eris E5
Fluid audio F5

Alternatively bookshelf speakers and an amp, I'm sure someone will come along to make some recommendations. This route might suit better depending on your needs.
