Another newbie asking for advice here :D

I currently have a labtec pulse 475 setup for my laptop speakers /flex. Next year again, I will have my laptop and the year after that too (in uni so a laptop is the easiest option) this means I can't get a soundcard and, even with a soundcard I probably couldn't tell the difference.
I've made do with the speakers I have for a while now but I'm looking at upgrading them soon.
I have had a look around a few threads here and have seen z-5500's and audioengine a5's but they're all ~£250. I'm looking for, if possible the best quality ~£100- £130 speakers I can get. I'm not entirely bothered whether it's a 5.1 or 2.1 or even if its a set of desktop speakers.
Are there any good value for money speakers in this price range?

The only problem I may have with the Tannoy F1's is as Rodger said, I need it to plug straight into a headphone port on a laptop :/ I can't find anything anywhere that says what cables it uses.

It seems most of the speakers I have seen are all meant for Hi-Fi and so would be hard to connect to my laptop :<
The Aego M2.1's are so incredibly ugly too O_O

So far it seems that the best options I have are the M-Audio AV40's or the Edirol MA15's which are more expensive :(
Are there any other speakers worth noting that can be plugged straight into a laptop output?

Thanks for all the help so far D:

Sorry I forgot to say you need an amp... I have around 10 of them lying around so I assume most other people have an amp when they infact don't! :o

You could pick up a Sonic Impact T amp for less then £50, and it would work great with the Tannoy's...

Even with an amp, though, would that be all I need? because I could end up forking out £150 and then find out I need to spend even more :(

Also I am pretty sure I have absolutely no amps at all :(

If I were to get a pair of tannoy F1's and the sonic impact T amp though, would it give better quality all around than getting a single unit like the MA15's?

I have been looking around for the best price on the sonic t amp and I cannot find it anywhere.
There's a portable version for £60 on another website but there are reviews all over the internet stating that the amp is -$30. Is it possible to get it for around £30 in the UK or is that only american prices?
The portable version is a completely different one, I've been looking around for model 5066 D:

Yeah, I'm going to have a look around but from what I've read it seems the T Amp is going to be the best value for money :(

I don't want to end up spending huge amounts of money, £150 is over what I was originally looking at already :S
Still, will keep looking around.
