Speaker Buzz

Sometimes when I am on certain websites, my speakers start to produce a slight buzz. This is most common on Wikipedia.

It immediately stops if I browse to another site or even scroll down the page slightly.

I'm guessing you're using on-board sound? Try updating the drivers.

Had that issue for years, on almost every machine I've had.

Much worse when I use mouse-scroll too.

I noticed that my current sound card makes a constant slight buzzing noise when smart volume is turned on, it disappears when I disable that feature. I hope this helps.
