Hi All.

Doing up a Garage and am converting it into a home cinema.

Trying to work out best speaker cable to get for the surround sound and wondered if anyone can recommend any good but in-expensive brands.

Criteria:

  • Need at least 50m
  • Would prefer full copper (not Copper coated Aluminium)
  • Not to expensive

Any recommendations?

Cheers

Thanks guys.

just looked up the price... 120.00 quid for 50 meters of cable is too expensive for me.

If i was buying expensive kit then maybe.

Thanks anyway for the suggestion.

That's £2.40 per metre, that's pretty good to be fair. Can you even by non-CCA speaker cable cheaper than £2 per metre?

£2.40 per metre is cheap...copper isn't a cheap material.

Without going into the whole expensive cable into the realm of RA myth territory, the Van Damm stuff is the cheapest stuff I'd get.

Good cable will last you for decades, when you upgrade your speakers or amp, you can keep the cables. It's one thing that will lasts.
