I was wondering what the best 2.0\2.1 speaker for less than 50 quid. Also will spending this much be any better than a £20-£25 set.

i personally have recommended the Logitech X-230 to a lot of people and i have the 5.1 version of this system my self!

there is also a Logitech X-240 set although looking at the specs, it iant really as good, the main diff is that with it you can:
Connect your digital audio player with the included auxiliary cable, or use your own USB/power cable to sync, charge and play digital music from your iPod, Zune, PDA or mobile phone.

hope that helps,
Lad

Speakers

Hi there,

My sister is looking for the same price range speakers and asked me to recommend some for her.

I found an excellent review of some Logitech Z3 2.1 speakers here

Although that site says their £80, they are about £50 now.

You also get a wired remote with them.

Hope this helps.
