After some advice I currently have 2 Sonos ones which I use over Airplay when playing YouTube music videos whilst working. I am having no end of problems, when switching between outputs such as my headphones or pause the video for 5 mins. The main symptom is either the browser crashes (tried several), no audio is played or when I switch back to Sonos speakers I just get a spinning wheel and then it says cannot correct. Eventually it will work again by flicking between sources multiple times. This happens severals times a day which is doing head in :p

Got to the point that its so irritating I am after another solution, the caldigit dock is the one with USB c and regular USB ports, guessing I can use a USB c to 3.5 headphone jack and then connect some speakers? Is my understanding correct? If so what speakers should I be looking for?

Thanks

Thanks, I will give it a go and see how I get on. Trying to avoid buying a new £350 dock when I already have a decent albeit it without an audio out jack.

Thanks again
