ok so i have a dell sound bar and a pair of logitech x 140 im just wondering if i could use the sound bar as a center speaker and the x140 as left and right speakers

You could try be plugging the sound bar into the centre speaker port and the x140's into the normal stereo speaker port and seletcing 5.1 and see what happens but your likely to lose the surround details on whet ever your playing by doing it unless you have another set of speakers to use as surrounds.
