Speaker Interferance

Hello,
I have recently got an HTC Touch Pro and everytime it checks for updates over wi-fi, 3g or gprs or get a text or someone phones and the device is on my pc desk. I get interference over my pc speakers. I know I can move the phone off the desk to stop it but is their anything I can do to stop it? I also cannot move the speakers as they are wall mounted.

what speakers and amp are you using?

Just a standard 2:1 Packard Bell NXT system. Sub is underneath the desk on the floor and sats are wall mounted either side of the dual screens

Hmm, short of wrapping your phone in tin foil there's not much I can suggest... try keeping all the speaker cables away from the phone as much as possible.
