Speaker/kit setup

Hi all im looking to get a decent pair of speakers for my pc something on the lines of b&w m1's and was wondering what you guys/girls have as a setup.
Do you use onboard MB audio out or from a soundcard?

I use Ruark MR1's and a musical fidelity v90 Dac they sound great. But recently was looking at the Kef eggs 2.0 active speakers won what hi fi 2015 best desktop speaker the Ruarks won the award in 2014

Advantage with the Kefs they have a built in DAC which the Ruarks don't both active speakers if your looking for that type of thing

What motherboard do you have and what's your budget?

M1 will require an amp.

Will you just be listening to music?
