Speaker Recommendations?

Hi All,

I've been looking for a bluetooth speaker I can connect to my S6 to give it a bit more volume. I use my phone to listen to podcasts on youtube while cooking/in the shower etc but my S6's speaker is not quite loud enough.

I've looked at the likes of Sonos play 1 but at £190 it's probably overkill for what I'm looking for.

Can anyone recommend anything I've probably overlooked? I'm happy to buy a play 1 but I wanted to consider the other options first.

The JBL Flip and Charge are quite good. I also like the UE Boom 2 although I have not used one yet.
If you want something a bit smaller the JBL Clip 2 is also good.

All of them are also waterproof

i'd go with a google home tbh. so you can do a lot more than just play music. control lighting, heating, etc.

Monitor Audio Airstream S150 is a good bet. Also has aptX for better sound over bluetooth, but also has a line in.

Could always get an Echo too, that'll handle the podcasts without having to use your phone.
