I'm looking to upgrade my current speaker system (crappy Yamaha all-in-one package), one bit at a time, and on a student budget :p

I've been looking at the Eltax Concept 180's which can be had for £50 English Pounds on Richer Sounds - anybody care to offer their opinion on them? (Know DRZ will be along soon enough (telling me I need to spend more money ;)))

Then to complete the front of the system I was looking at the Eltax Symphony Centre, which can be had for an amazing £15 again off Richer Sounds. I know this really is doing it on a budget, but to be honest I'm quite pleased with my already cheap sounding Yamaha setup - so anything more is a Brucey Bonus.

So basically - I just need to know if there's a better way to spend the same, or roundabouts, money.

Opinions greatly received :D

To be honest I would save up £200 or so then buy a package cheap 2nd hand off somewhere like avforums (assume I can mention them!)

Indeed it would be a better idea, but I'm a lowly student, and saving that £200 would be quite a feat. However, I shall go and take a look over there and see what's up for grabs - thanks for the tip :)
