I have some new Edifier R1800TIII speakers, and I'm trying to work out how to mount them. My desk sits pretty much against a wall, and i have a 30" and 2 27" monitors on it, so they can only sit behind the monitors.

I was wondering if anyone knows of either any desk mount speaker arms that are reasonably priced, or desk stands which either attach to the edge of the desk via mounting mechanism, floor stands which have the pole at the back of the support so it can sit flush against the wall without fowling the desk (can't move it forward). Last option would be desk mounts where the base can sit either side of my 30" and then it raises the speakers to up an above the screen.

Anyone got any ideas?

What's reasonably priced for you?

I looked into this a while back - I'm a bedroom DJ so was looking for something to mount my monitors (speakers) close to my decks. There's a brand called Citronics that do some stands that clip on to the side of desks which will easily take the weight of speakers. However, DJ equipment isn't cheap hence my question about your ballpark figure.

well, cheaper is better, the speakers are only £80, so obviously dont want to spend more on stands than speakers :/

Ordered a pair of Quik Lok BS/300 from the rainforest for £30. Will see how they turn out/if they can fit anywhere on the desk. Long term I might look into a multi PC monitor stand and re purpose some mounts and some wall mounts or something. But for now, I just want to start using them :D
