Speaker Stands: how high?

Ok, i've got a set of Kef iQ3's which I want to buy a set of stands for, but 50/60cm stands just dont seem like they'll be tall enough.

They'll be going in my room on either side of my computer desk - and i'll spend most of my listening time sat in a computer chair at the desk.

Do I want the tweeter level with my ear? Higher? Lower?

Hmm. Not actually in the room yet, I move in in a week or two, so nothing is set in stone as I don't even have a desk yet.

My plan was to put the amp on my desk to the left of my PC, and then have speakers either side.

Would I be better off having them on the other side of the room with nothing between them?
