Speaker Upgrade

I currently have some logitech z3-e 2.1 speakers. Would I notice a significant difference if I bought the Aego M's?

I'm no expert when it comes to speakers and sound but i'm pretty sure that for you to notice a big difference you would need a decent soundcard. What's the rest of your spec and what will you be using it for most?

I've got the x-fi extreme music and I mainly listen music but plays games as well. I don't want 5.1 because the speakers would be awkward to position in my room. The speakers I currently have sound a bit tinny with this sound card (especially when the volume is ramped up).
