Hey guys,

Sure this has been answered many times before on here but my search skills are terrible :D

Have just moved in to my new house, the living room is all hard flooring so the luxury of lifting the carpet to hide wires is gone. The other issue I have is that on each side of the room is a door way, one to the hallway and the other being the patio doors to the garden.

What's the best solution to this problem? I don't want to see the wires and don't really want cable clips around the whole room. I've seen that D-Line stuff for skirting boards which looks to be my only option but it's very expensive to buy it to go round the whole room. And it doesn't solve the door issues, ideally I go the patio door side but this probably means banging cable tidies or some other solution in to the patio doors which I'd rather not do

Any one had and fixed this problem before? Only thing I don't want to do is tear up the floor as I'm hopeless at DIY. I don't suppose there are companies you can pay to come up with and install solutions for stuff like this? :p

Thanks

What type of patio doors?
I've got dg patio doors, the d-line is about the same height as the lip at the bottom, so blends in (d line 22mm quadrant stuff).

Yeah having a look again I think 22mm will fit underneath ok

And thanks for that link Tom, that's much cheaper than I've seen elsewhere, was like £12 per 2m elsewhere. I think that's what I'm going to have to go for
