Speaker wire

Moving house so need some longer runs of speaker cable. Can anyone recommend any brands and can you tell the difference between the cheap stuff and the expensive stuff.

Thanks for the info I will take a look. On the cable will it say which colour is positive and which is negative.

Sorted blue is negative and red is positive. Idiot proof!

Orderd some van damme blue for the front,centre and sub and going to order some low profile paintable speaker wire for my rears. This will save me having to chase the walls ans they should run nicely under my new floor.
