Speakers for Kitchen - Advice

My kitchen is 4m x 6.5m and has a breakfast bar with a LCD TV and a Mac Mini setup

I was hoping that the TV would have been able to play music for the kitchen but its pants :rolleyes:

So im loooking for some speakers to go on top of the kitchen units, small enough to be out of sight, but able to give good enough quality to fill the room

These speakers are to be run from the back of the Mac Mini with a switch box to allow for the AV input to the LCD TV (TV dont have AV out)

Any speaker suggestions please, cheaper the better
