Hi all

I have a 48 inch LG OLED.

I don't really have room for a soundbar. I'm after better sound for the TV.

Can you buy two small speakers to connect to the TV via Bluetooth for surround sound without a soundbar?

Seen a few but it all seems to state they connect to soundbars.

I don't think TVs have Bluetooth out.

See what audio outputs your TV has then match with suitable speakers

Does your TV have analogue line output?

Some do support Bluetooth, but I can't see how that could be helpful in this scenario, you "might" be able to set things up so all work at once but not in a surround environment.

While not ideal, is there room above your TV where you could mount speakers? It's not going to give you surround, but it'll certainly offer better sound quality than the TV's built in.

Frankly, you'd be much better off with headphones unless you're watching with more than one person.

Ah yes checked LG do support Bluetooth . Lol shows never use that feature.

But yeah just getting Bluetooth rear speakers only? Nah won't work as need dap to extract rear surround then output that.

Soundbars are pretty small so don't see why is a problem

What do you mean? Bluetooth is simply a wireless data transfer technology.

Outside of specific audio related tech such as aptX, which largely reduces latency at higher sound quality levels which is irrelevant for "tv show support" as it will function just fine as long as both end devices support it.
