Speakers For Macmini

I am wanting to replace the speakers I use with my Mac Mini (Intel). I have a pair of Creative Gigiworks T20 at the moment.
I want something that has a more clear, out of the box sound & has a subwoofer. Looking to pay no more than £70.

Idealy I would love a 4.1 surround system with my Macmini. But a very good 2.1 with suffice.

From your experience, has anyone got any suggestions?

Harmon Kardon Soundsticks!

I have a set here and they are real class speakers - do a google search and check them out.

Acoustic Energy Aego M-Series are pretty nice little speakers, not as stylish as the Sound Sticks though

I got myself a pair of Soundstick 2's. Running Them In @ this very minute. Sounding very very sweet.

Are the blue 'ball things' at the rear of each driver on the satellites ment to light up?

No lights on the satellites mate - just on the sub. They really do sound great!

Very Nice set up mate

Does the Sub sound ok on your desk? I have mine underneath cause I thought it may take some of the bass away having it on my desk.

Yeah sub sounds dead on on the desk - I cant really set it down on the floor (just the way the big 'worktop' desk is). Really are good speakers those and i'm sure you won't regret buying them.

Just a quick update on the 'Soundsticks'
