Hi all and happy new year :)

recently got a Jam Bluetooth vinyl player for Crimbo and wanted to connect some half decent speakers to it via Bluetooth or RCA.

Budget is around £90/100, what would you recommend? Only some solid bookshelf speakers are necessary as it’s in a bedroom it doesn’t need to shake the house but do want it to sound decent…

suggestions please :D

I wouldn’t put my vinyl on it tbh. But I’m in a different price bracket. If you take it back and increase your budget slightly your good to go .
I like my vinyl but don't really believe a cheap record player would in anyway damage it. Record damage usually occurs through user error rather than the equipment it is played on.

Throw that pos record player in the bin the mass produced ***** record players that are available in multiple guises at bargain shops destroy records.

Yes most definitely not the best quality record player, but do you really believe it will destroy records?

This is the same chap who constantly recommends two massive and expensive subwoofers when people state they have ~£150 budgets :D

It's a low cost record player, so wouldn't imagine the quality will be the best, but I can't see it destroying records. I imagine the OP is likely using it for the recent vinyl rereleases (the market they are aimed at) rather than original rare pressings from the 60's/70's/80's etc.
