Speakers problem.

Well, I was sitting playing L4D earlier when I started hearing strange noises from my speakers, I muted my game sound and it seems that I was hearing a police radio (Someone had went through a red light :rolleyes:

). The speakers are not wireless, not connected to my monitor/TV so I have no clue what it's from. Anyone got any ideas what it could be and how I could fix it?

I'll scan my PC just to be sure.

I moved my speakers a few inches towards me, and I havn't had any interferances since..weird.

If they are Logitech I know exactly what the problem is:

this has come up a couple of times about radio signals bouncing off the ionsphere and effecting unshielded speaker wires.

Obviously could happen on other makes but Logitech seems to be prone to it.

They're just some cheap Philips ones that came with my old computer. Since I've moved them, there hasn't been any foreign sounds so I guess it might have just been picking up some radio waves. Thanks for the suggestions guys.
