Speakers recommendation

Hi all,

I have the Creative Gigaworks T40 Series 2 and after almost 7 years they are showing signs of giving up. sometimes not playing sound at all even not the static noise when not plugged in a source.

I am sad to see these go to the speaker heaven as I loved these but time for a replacement.
What is similar in size and sound quality speakers are there available oh also not going to break the bank

Only stopped working once this week and then were fine again. I wonder if the amp chip is going. I could get another T40 I'll look on a well known auction site.

The original got lost in a house move and bought a new cable from asda an while back been fine for almost a year so I cant see it being the cable if I am honest.
