speakers than i can attach

im after some bookshelf powered speakers that are decent, well anything better then the monitor speakers, i want to attach to the monitor stand uprights, was looking at edifier 1280db or dbs around the £100-£150 mark

any ideas something small but decent for the sim rig?

is 5.1 a bit overkill for racing games?

or maybe other option is monitor stands?

i have a headset, its ok does the the job its a Sennheiser GSP 670, but im not really one for sitting in rig with headset on as no chat allowed during races, hence why speakers i thought would be a good option, the money is there to spend more, but i dont play everyday due to work and cant justify it, plus getting old :cry:
