Speakers: Z4's versus higer end speakers

Me and a friend were talking about speakers and were comparing my z4's to higher end sets. Im very impressed with them and metallica sound good. But my mate was saying that the sound quality isnt worth the extra cash.

What do you think?

Whether it's worth the extra cash to upgrade from your Logitechs it up to you as it depends upon how much cash you have, how good the rest of you system is, how good your recordings are and how good your ears are, amongst lots of other things.

Personally I would count anything less than about £200 spent on decent second hand hi-fine to connect to my of as a bit of a waste. Never been impressed with computer speakers.
