hi guys
my creative subwoofer is on its way out, its 5.1 and the amp is internal to the subwoofer i assume
i upgraded the satellite speakers recently.
with a full set of 5700 speakers, i have the brand new subwoofer to that set, but it does not have an amp in it, the 5700 ststem had a seperate amp i think.
i have have a fatality x-fi with the front panel.
do i
buy a new set of speakers
buy a 5700 amp from somewhere (would that be compatable with my soundcard)
or get a powered subwoofer for the 5.1 speakers i have
please help

if your willing go seperates if you have the money

i got 2 seperates and an merantz amp for just over 500. I know it sounds a lot but the sound quality is so much far superior to stock "logitech" and "creative" systems. my advice i did it and would never go back

you can do it for a lot cheaper than that lol

about £100 will get you some mission bookshelfs and a nice cheap denon amp of the 'bay. Bang for buck goodness trouble is, its only 2 channel. a decent 5.1 system WILL cost a lot of money
