Im in need of a new monitor as mine has blown. 24" is a good size for me.

Will be used for gaming, my budget is around £250 but can stretch it

Cheers

dont go this route if you ever intend to do eyefinity or use the displayport as it is limited to 60hz and at present cant do 144hz on this port as advertised.

There is a firmware fix being coded but ive been informed it will not be released to general public and models will have to be replaced at a later date by AOC with the firmware already flashed in factory. At present they have no stock  again as advised by AOC them selves via their technical support on several occasions.

I am in the same dilemma. I am stuck between 200-299 mark and currently deciding on either of

AOC G2460PQU 24" http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-007-AO&groupid=17&catid=510

Asus VG248QE 24" http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-053-AS&groupid=17&catid=510

BenQ XL2411T Rev2.0 24 http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-070-BQ

Really not sure:

I have a ATI 280x - so Nvidia 3d + g-sync don't matter
The benQ is £20-£40 more
I am a somewhere inbetween a casual/hardcore gamer - I don't play competitively
Really want 120hz/144hz
Prefer a thin-ish black blezel
Colour quality is important, but I don't think I know enough to comment.

I am going from a 7 year old LG 22" with a max of 60hz

Gutted I missed out on last weeks benQ deal!
