My mate wants to upgrade and keep the same 500W PSU and case etc. Just need Mobo, CPU and memory for now. Hes willing to spend £250 and £300 at a push. Wanting to do some overclocking as well.....

Thinking:

total £296

Worried about the microATX...can u o/c well on these boards? never usd them before. Not bothered about mobo features too much!

Also will PSU wattage be ok?

Any suggestions? Thanks

Yes mATX boards OC well still, not quite as well as their full size counterparts but not far off
The main thing that dictates PSU wattage needed is gfx card, if this isnt changing and PSU was OK before it should still be ok
For OCing youre best getting some faster memory so as that doesnt become the limiting factor, look at PC12800 stuff
