Right heres the deal for those of you who want to try, my friend wants a a new pc. He's got £600 to spend he needs everything apart from a mouse and keyboard. So a monitor and OS are needed as well 19" or above and windows vista. The main uses of the pc are for uni work games and a bit of cad. (He wants to play CS:S as a minimum.) Any suggestions welcome.

Something like this might be suitable, a decent balance of components I think. If the budget is really important then a smaller hard drive could be used instead.

You look to be missing a PSU but other than that it should be fine, I was automatically assuming that overclocking might be an option here but that would probably be better overall. :)
