On this system, you will have to build it yourself, but it’s much better value, or you could build if or him/her.

This will make use of your entire budget. I put that ram in as it is really cheap. You could use the ram in dual channel and leave 1 stick out or single channel with all the sticks in, if you’re using 64 bit windows 6 GB is the better option. Triple core is currently the Sweet spot for gaming. Using the CPU cooler, you should be able to overclock the CPU to 3.5GHz+. It’s lightly over but that is the fault of the mouse.

Do you get free shipping?, if so you could save him £10 by ordering it for him.
