Hi all,

I'm after the following components and wanted some advice on which way to go in terms of AMD vs Intel and maximum speed.

I don't tend to overclock, but if a CPU is proven to OC without any potential issues then I'd consider it.

  • Motherboard
  • CPU
  • PSU
  • RAM

Mainly do gaming, word processing and occasional CAD/design work.

I want the best possible system within a budget of £200. I have everything else needed for the build, just these components needed.

AMD X2 or Intel Dual!?

Thanks in advance,

Andy

Akasa Ultra Quiet 400W Paxpower PSU
Intel E2200 CPU
Corsair 4gb 6400 800Mhz DDR2
Gigabyte GA-EP43-DS3L Intel P43

Total Price: £215.00

:)

Edit: Thats the cheapest I can make it on here. Unless you wanna go really budget? (ASRock motherboard, OcUK Value RAM etc.)

What GPU do you have?
