Spec a cheap £150 build

Hi all,

Looking to put together a cheap as possible build. It'll mainly only be used to play Quakelive/Quake 4 on a iiyama VM PRO CRT, so it's not going to need much grunt! My budget is as close to £150. I'm open to both AMD and Intel. My case is a Corsair 600T, so the motherboard has to be able to power the case fans.


Will need:

Motherboard, CPU, RAM, PSU


Don't need:

Case, OS, monitor, GPU, HDD, DVD drive, Mouse/Keyboard


Will also check the MM out

Is it really £150? You need to get into the MM and have a look.
 
Yeah as close to £150 as possible. That second one looks alright, like I say it won't be playing anything demanding or owt

What could I be looking for second hand for £150? Just so I can get a rough idea and would it be better than what you've listed?
 
Ok sweet, looks like I'll go the MM route then! I might change my case also and go with something much smaller
