Dunno where to ask this tbh as no real section for it.

So anyhow. My leather chair i bought from asda about 5 years ago has finally broke, the plastic has snapped off on the left. So need a new one.

I liked this chair tho it could have done being taller on the back more as im 6ft 2. Also need a good one to last as im rather heavy. Somit that wont scratch the laminate floor. Dont think this one did and it has wheels but maybe certain chairs scratch and some dont.

Probably get somit off amazon as dont wana spend a lot and has to be comfy for a large bloke thats tall at 6ft 2 as said before.

Thought about this but dunno.

Then i saw this.

Which looked cool but dunno if it will do for me for size and height.

This chair i had before tended to go back and tilt when i didnt want it to sometimes as i want it locked to stay up. Does chairs have locks on them these days for that? This one kinda did but it still leaned back somewhat when i didnt want it to.

This one i have atm presses into my legs a bit and hurts so i need a wider than normal chair maybe.

Not mine but is similar i guess to what i have atm.

Really didnt want to spend more than about 45 quid on a new chair. Ones that look nice are a bit over my price range.

A high-back chair is good. But that 2nd one actually has plastic handles and may not be quite as sturdy as it looks. If I were you, I'd consider going to one of those office clearing warehouses. And see / check for yourself what they are really like in person.

But if you can afford something like a DX Racer gaming chair. Then that would be a very good option. They cost more than what you are saying you can afford. But are actually much better value than any similar 'ergonomic' office chairs (when bought as a new item).

For your stated budget you really have to buy 2nd hand or nothing to get a good quality and lasting chair. Nothing brand new (at that price) is going to be so well built.
