Spec a friend Part II

Dear All,

Some of you might recall my thread from three weeks ago. My friend has got back to me on the spec that Stulid prepared me, wanted to change a few things so he can order from OcUK tonight/tomorrow.

Anyway, this was the spec last time;

He now wants to add 'internal wifi card, 8 gig ram, usb 3, i7 processor' and perhaps a better quality monitor.

Can anyone help?

Give me a sec, but if its for gaming then a i7 is pointless.

If the budget is higher then stick a 6950 2GB back in it.

Yes, and hows this all going to fit in the budget? the PSU and motherboard could do with a change.

Oh- sorry, the budget is now limitless, I should've said! Apologies. He's now saying that he wants 2048mb per graphics card! I wish non-techies wouldn't just see high figures and assume that high = good!

Edit: By limitless I guess I mean 'within reason' not see how much one can spend on parts. Maybe £1,000 - £1,200?

Just change the case to suit what he likes the looks of, its him that has to look at it.
