OK, so my step dads toshiba quasimo went wrong. the graphics chip broke, so he would need a new mothboard etc.
So basically he needs a new laptop and has a budget of £600. HE would prefer a large screen, but if it means lower quality processor or hard drive then nevermind. It has to ahve a Hard drive larger than 100gb, a DVD-RW, be dual core and Windows Vista.
He has come up with a few laptops though...
A packard bell SW51-b-012 <-- dual core AMD, 1 gb HDD
FUGItSU amilo pi1505 <---- Core Duo 120Gb HDD
He spec'd a dell home laptop <--- AMD Dual core
I like the Acer Aspire 5103WLMi
or the Fujitsu Siemens Amilo PA 2510
