After reading about it on Bit-tech I'm really interested in this processor, and would quite like to build a gaming machine around it.

However, when bit-tech were apparently able to easily overclock that CPU to 4.9GHz, I'm wondering why all the overclocked bundles on OCUK only go up to 4.4GHz with it?

My other requirements:

I use a 24" screen, so I'm looking to run games at 1920x1200, preferably on 'high' graphics settings (I've used consoles for years - I want to give me eyes a treat finally :) )

I don't want something excessively noisy. If any of you know how loud a (non-slim) Xbox 360 is - well that is far, far too loud. I want something orders of magnitude quieter than that.

My current PC has a low-end GeForce card and an Athlon 64 X2 5000 and is wonderfully quiet.

And in terms of budget? I'd like to get an idea of the minimum I'd need to spend to achieve the above requirements.

Its not exactly minimum, could go cheaper, namely gfx card but its solid build that will max all out for at least a coupla years (bar the stupidly demanding titles such as crysis and metro etc)

Oh and re the OCing, each chip is individual, whilst some may go to 4.9/5.0, OcUK give 4.4 as thats the minimum they can get any of the chips they get to, you could clock it higher yourself

Edit: Oh you prob need windows 7 home premium 64 bit in there too, add another £80 for that
