Hello!

Firstly I apologise for the wrong location (if it is)

I am wanting to build my own PC, and unsure of what parts to buy, and was wondering if anyone wants to help spec out a PC for me.

Currently my budget is £1100 and the primary purpose of the machine will be gaming, however I need RAM for hosting VM's as well.

It would need to be an Intel chipset as well.

I basically need the following:
Case
Motherboard
RAM
CPU
Graphics card
SSD
PSU

I already have a monitor, and will purchase a better mouse, keyboard at a later date. And I already have an OS.

Now, I do have a hard disk already, for storage so if need be i can always wait until next month to buy an SSD and pump more into the main build. I do currently have an i7 2600 (non K) so that may be something to consider, however the motherboard is quite rubbish (£30 AsRock)/

I'm not entirely sure where to start. But for an SSD I have been looking at the following:

Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5 inch Basic SATA Solid State Drive

Possibly a 5820 CPU, but i believe that require DDR4 RAM? And I would require at least 16GB of RAM for my VMs.

I was thinking nVidia 780 / 970? Not sure what's at the top now.

I was looking at the Coolermaster HAF X or 750D Case?

I am open to any suggestions!

Thanks
