I have case, windows, drive, etc, 16gb ddr4..........use the PC for office, google, youtube, tv and movies. No games. It has a dated mini itx MB with PCI slot ~4th gen intel CPUs....board is limited to 1080p. Modern graphics cards don't fit the PCI slot.

Does an AMD4 cpu and an AMD motherboard output enought to play youtube/vids at 2k ~60hz?

Like an AMD Ryzen 5 4600G and an AMD4 board?

Do I need a fancy HDMI cable? Do I need a descrete graphics card like a 1030?

Thanks very much. Pod

I have a fanless

There's a company online selling a bundled gigabyte gaming x b550 board with a 5600g CPU for £239.

This will do everything you need, even play 4k YouTube if you needed it to.

If not playing games then the 5600g is a great all rounder.

No need for a discrete graphics card, and no need for fancy hdmi cables, version 1.4b should sugfice

I did look on overclockers but they have very little budget am4 in stock. Theyve got some high priced am4 boards but can't see the need to spend mega on an am4 platform
