Spec a PC for £200

Personally I like to play games like Bf2 with all the eye candy on this isn't possible in Xp with a 1 Gig of ram it will defo not be possible in Vista with 1 Gig.

As for the four Gig, keeping dual channel and 1T priority I would buy 2 x 2 gig sticks as and upgrade rather than 2 X the impossible to find 1.5Gb sticks or 4 x 1Gb sticks.

Depends on the game.. but i will admit 2gb is needed for gaming "generally" (assuming we are talking about the latest and greatest games :P )
 
£200 is not enough even for mega budget pc would have thought? :confused: £300 seems the amount that can be played around with to make very basic PC from ground up?

Lol i was thinking of a temp solution, Untill i can afford the whole new kit of a C2D with 4gb ram so on.

better than what i am with sempron 3400+

1.5gb ram (slow)
