Spec a Photography noob a digital camera. PLZZZZ

Hi all, i am currently studying a Design course this year. And for the next 3 years i am going to be doin a Advertising Media course. For my current course i have been using a canon powershot a45 but it was stolen. I do allot of photo,media editing in photoshop with the images i take.

I have around 300quid 2 burn. I dont know much about cameras, i jst need something that can give me the best photos for the price as i will be definatly using it for my work over the next few years.

Any reccomendations please.

If youre doing design/product photos then the dslr's will give you a lot more technique to play with

You should be able to get yourself a 2nd hand Canon 300D for around £300 with the kit lens. That would give you a nice good quality camera to start with and something you can add to as your photography skills grow.
