spec a workstation

Hi im a little out of the loop now so could some kind souls spec a base unit for running google sketch up and 3D autocad that is only used for 2D drawings. could have 3 instances of sketch up running alongside autocad, office and numerous browser windows open. budget around £700 - £1000 for complete base unit. its for work so onboard sound is fine.

Thanks for the specs you've listed, I will ask tomorrow about os as its for a guy in a workshop next to me. It's just for modelling kitchens so will give them the i5 and i7 options.

Does it need the cpu fan with being a retail version?

It won't be overclocked as its for work purposes so needs to be stable out the box
