Hi,

I'm looking at building a Vista PC (possibly 64-bit version of the OS). The main use of this system will be photoshop/lightroom/dreamweaver and some software development using the MS dev tooling. Gaming may be something that I do in the form of games such as WAR and Company of Heroes.

Would the following spec work well and would I be able to overclock the processor safely

I'd agree. That spec is decent all the way through then the HDD is a league below certainly not worth skimping on as Storage is very cheap right now.

The Case+PSU combo looks a little budget to me, perhaps one of the Antec gaming cases might be more appropriate and a good brand PSU.

One problem, you've picked a micro-atx case and picked a full size atx board. If you want a matx board, I can recommend the Asus P5E-VM HDMI mATX mobo. Will let you overclock that cpu easily.

Also I'd change that harddrive to the Samsung Spinpoint f1 320gb, I've got one myself and there fast enough for everything. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp...nt F1 320GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (HD322HJ)

Rest looks fine :)
