Hi Guy's

My current spec's are as follows...
  • Intel Core i7 920 D0
  • XFX Radeon HD 4870 xXx 1024MB
  • Foxconn Renaissance
  • Antec 900-2
  • Coolermaster Real Power 620w Modular
  • OCZ Gold 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 Tri Channel
  • Western Digital Caviar Black 640GB
  • Noctua NH-U12P
  • LG GH22NS40 22x DVD±RW
Basically I'm expecting some money late December to January and have allocated up to £3000 for a new system (Obviously don't think I'll spend that much) However my current rig is still pretty impressive and have not noticed any performance issue's other than the hard drive being a little slow.

However for mainly personal taste reasons I want to change most of the components, the Renaissance mobo for example because for a start I would like to run a dual gpu set up but the pci slots are apparantly to close together etc etc...

Okay my plan really is to keep the I7 and get a board that is better designed for overclocking and flog the rest either on ebay or Members market.

So what would you guys recommend? I use my computer for practically everything, photo editing, gaming, music etc etc but want a beast that will keep me happy for another couple of years if possible? I have an O/S and a dell 22" ultra sharp (Though may go for something bigger) But would like a quality keyboard and mouse for gaming...

So guy's what would you go for?

I actually have an old Creative Inspire P380 2.1 surround set I bought about 6 years ago.... that have just phenominal sound quality! I guess I should upgrade them though at some point!
